Taiwan stocks ended flat on Monday, as profit-taking on LCD makers weighed on the rise in defensive shares, with AU Optronics and Chimei Innolux both down by the maximum allowed in a session. The main TAIEX index fell 4.62 points to 7,535.52. Electronics shares eased 0.44 percent, while banking shares were flat. The Taiwan dollar was up T$0.067 to stand at T$29.053.
